I know this seems obvious. As an Equine Education Professional it’s hard for me to read about people riding their horses in clinics for 8hrs, riding for 6 miles every other week with no work in between, teaching a horse to canter that isn’t balanced in a walk and trot, etc. So I feel the need to remind people that horses are not machines. They need conditioning. They need breaks. They need us to be good physical and occupational therapists.
