A day late

Don’t be afraid of going backwards in your training. Some days we need to step back and practice some basics. While this can seem like failure or backsliding, ultimately it is what will propel you forward.

Stretching isn’t just for your horse. If your tiny when you get in the saddle, you will make your horse tight. Doing some light stretching before mounting up can help improve your ride. If you want your horse to be supple, you need to be supple too.
