Horses draw on knowledge from previous experiences. Think of your relationship with your horse a bit like writing a book. Each day is a page in a chapter. Each month is a chapter. What is contained in each chapter will build your horse and help them to understand how to proceed with information in new chapters. The horse will reference the previous chapters to determine their reaction to what is happening in the current chapter.
