Most of us ride horses because we find some enjoyment in it. While horses may not dislike their time with us if we are fair, their time packing us around is more like going to the gym than going to the amusement park. We have a tendency to treat our horses more like four wheelers or UTVs, jump on and go to complete a task or find enjoyment without much thought to how our horses are “running” (more on this tomorrow).
