A “no“ from your horse doesn’t mean “no” forever. It means “not right now.” It says “I’m not strong enough” or “I don’t understand.” Be patient. Go back to the last thing your horse was executing successfully. Take a break. Work the basics. Break down the elements. Work each element before trying to put the pieces back together. Try again in a few days.
