Employment opportunity

Opportunity for someone serious about learning working horsemanship and maintaining functional soundness in horses.

Reasons why last few have not worked out:

Calling in regularly

Late regularly

Leaving gates open

Leaving water running

Unable to learn names of horses / learn where horses are housed

Inability to identify a dirty stall and clean it thoroughly

Inability to follow written instructions and complete assigned tasks

Inability to attend clinics / seminars onsite for free continuing education

Inability to keep up with assigned reading to advance education

These were adults. I have had 3 amazing students intern with me. Some were a few days to a few months. Unfortunately, they live a good distance away from me and are /were teenagers. Teenagers that out worked adults hired to complete tasks. Adults that were given ample opportunity to improve and educate themselves but did not have the desire to do so. I would take Ava (17), Jo (13), or Maizy (was 16 when here) any day for this position but they aren’t in a position to be able to do it.

If you resemble the list above or can’t be a harder worker or more responsible than these amazing teenagers, then you probably won’t work out here.

If you think you have what it takes, read below:
