Here’s my question: What’s the right balance of “ask” when hacking out after a schooling period? If I’ve just done an intense period of bending, collection, lateral movements or whatever, what I’m looking for most in my hack is relaxation. Yet, I’ve also read we shouldn’t be letting the horse just “hang loose” when we ride, but should always be looking for some measure of correctness.
