I am not your crash test dummy. If your horse is showing pain responses and uncomfortable, I am going to recommend getting them treated. What I am not going to do is continue to put myself in a position where I am going to get hurt because you are unwilling to treat your horse. Yes, that is blunt. No, I’m not negotiating. I do this everyday. I look at more horses in a day that most people do in a week. I don’t make money off telling you your horse needs to be treated. I will not continue pushing a painful horse because you don’t want to spend money on treatment. Ethically, I won’t push a horse that is giving me pain responses and behavior changes associated with that pain. If you don’t want to do the treatment, by all means you can ride them yourself. I will not put myself in a position to get hurt because of your pocket book. I 💯 guarantee you aren’t going to pay my medical bills or my lost wages. If I say your horse is painful and needs treatment, then get them treated or find another crash test dummy. I’m not your girl. I did not buy the broken horse. I did not break the horse. I am no longer willing to be broken by the horse because owners don’t want to treat the horse.
