I have tried to give people opportunities to learn. Some working for me. Some I’ve given opportunities to use my horses. What I find is that in general, it doesn’t work out. Will I stop giving people opportunities, no. I am just way more selective about who I give those opportunities to. If I give you the opportunity of working for me to learn, I’m investing time, education and money into you. Time I am taking away from my family. Money used to support the business. Education that I have worked hard and invested a lot of money in.
