Wisdom Wednesday

If you don't show up for your horse, don't expect your horse to show up for you. If you aren't going to do the daily work to get your horse in shape, don't expect them to perform at a competition. If you would rather sleep an extra hour than ride your horse, don't expect your horse to be ready to go on a trail ride. If you are not going to invest in proper tack, nutrition, bodywork, hoof care, fitness/training schedule, etc ("the things"), don't complain when your horse acts out or doesn't perform.
