Horses are required to participate in our activities. We don't really give them a choice. Therefore, I believe it is our job to make them as comfortable as possible. Evaluate your tack. Is it pinching? Does it rub? Yes? Then replace it. Tack that creates pain, creates dysfunction. Dysfunction leads to undesirable behaviors.
