How do we deal with coming back to work after time off?

Speed will never fix anything. It only gets you to the wrong place faster. Speed does not need to be practiced

Don’t get stuck in the box that repeats the cycle.

Stop worrying about what your horse’s “full potential” is.

You aren’t at war with your horse nor are you competing with your horse.

Look forward when you ride but look back at how far you have come when measuring progress.
