Slow is fast

You have to understand the inside of the horse to communicate with the outside of the horse. 

Slow your aids down. When people talk fast they are hard to understand . Your horse can’t understand you when you rush your aids

Listen to your horse. They are probably the most honest creature you will encounter

Fiddling with the face wil not fix your problem.

Leaning will create lameness

It’s easy to be a fair weather rider. That won’t educate your horse

Shortcuts and skipped steps lead to dysfunction. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

Learning is painful. It requires us to let go of tradition, change habits, and accept we did the best we could until we knew better

Find a way to make their no a yes without force.

If your horse is behaving poorly it can mean their voice has been ignored and now they are shouting. Listen for the whisper

The human has to change the relationship not the horse.

If you want your horse to work for you, you must put in the time working for them.
